As the UK drops all pandemic restrictions, Clerkenwell, like so many business areas, is looking to rebuild its businesses and visitor foot traffic.

‘Clerkenwell Showrooms’ CS is a community organisation that will serve its members by seeking ways to bring visitors back to the area throughout the year. Come to share ideas, suggestions and past experiences.

Agenda:

CS Founder: Jeremy Lee will outline the Clerkenwell Showrooms (CS) vision. Once the largest showroom district in Europe, Clerkenwell has been a thriving hub for furniture, lighting and fabric showrooms visited by architects and specifiers from far and wide.

CS will attract visitors year-round by promoting events by using ‘CS Yellow Flag’ days that correspond with all major London events. Additionally, we will obtain CS member discounts for showrooms that wish to commit to existing shows such as Clerkenwell Design Week and London Design Festival.

CS Co-Founder: Matthew Line. Will discuss how CS might use Maps to promote the district as well opening a wider debate about publicity for the showrooms.

Host: Liz Walker - Marketing Manager at Orangebox will touch on how CS might work with showrooms and the local community and invite feedback from attendees.

Member: Urva Soni - Customer Experience Manager at Milliken will host the next CS Gathering after CDW 2022 in June 22…(date TBC)
